J. R. Martin

 

J. R. Martin is a native Texan who grew up as an only child. Reading became his passion, and he soon began telling stories to entertain his friends and family. This upbringing etched the desire to write deep within his soul, where the stories slowly took on a life of their own. Now, as a writer, he’s allowing those hidden tales to be woven into stories for others to enjoy. 

J. R. is also the owner of Underdog Press, a labor of love he nurtures with his family's help. His goal is to give opportunities to other authors who've written amazing stories that aren't in lock step with the mainstream publishing. To that end, J. R. goes out to meet fans of Underdog Press and make new ones, all while preaching the value of reading and writing Stories Beyond Basic.
